for game demos, a games shop selling CDs by web orders, and evaluating
and setting up online gaming sites such as MPlayer and Wireplay. |

- The Hungry Programmers
Java Virtual Machine
I'm one of the current maintainers of a multi-platform Open
Source implementation of SUN's Java. It currently runs on Linux,
FreeBSD, Solaris and Irix. It is written in C (and a little bit
C++), and supports native threads, Java Native Interface and
Netscape/Mozilla Open Java Interface.
Skolelinux - Linux for
primary schools
I am the system architect and lead developer of the project. The
project was initiated in 2001 by me and a few others. We want to
make free software more available for the primary schools in
Norway, and are making a turn-key installation for the school
networks, with all the services and desktop applications needed in
schools, with the user programs available in Norwegian Bokmål,
Nynorsk and Nothern Saami.
Translating
and publishing Creative Commons books
I've so far translated and published five books Creative Commons
licensed books, and curated and published a Creative Commons
licensed dictionary database as three dictionaries.
