Title: Black Winter Day Medium: Oil on canvas Dimensions: about 3 foot tall This is my very first oil painting ever. As in most of my art I tried to convery a feeling rather than an image. The dark colors make it hard to see in the photograph what the painting depicts, though, so I will tell you. It is a seascape at nite and the foreground consits of skulls and broken bones. Also this painting is closely connected to two songs that I would love to play to you while you look at it but I don't know how to. The first song is from "Crematory" and is called "Shadows of mine" and the other one is from "Amorphis" called "Black Winter Day". Listening to that music gives the painting a whole new dimension.
